Hi there, welcome to Guild Wars.

There are walkthroughs out - you can find them on the Guild Wars Official Wiki (wiki.guildwars.com) but IMHO, Guild Wars is much more enjoyable if you play it through once without having to use walkthroughs. Yes it can be challenging at times, but the sense of accomplishment is worth the effort. And if you have trouble with particular quests or missions, then that would be a good time to use the walkthroughs.

After you have made an account and all

just make a charactor in which ever campaign you chose ( I would recomend NF)

and ye....you will get the hang of it

there is also tips

Go to Wikia page of guild wars, then go to the basics and all section.

Find a guild if you wish to learn by experience quicker, and last but not least, Welcome to the community!!

if you don't understand something in the game, be it an item/quest/skill or anything really, just type it in 1 of the 2 sites and they'll tell you all about them

Load the game, make a character and just go play. If you're unsure of what profession, go to wiki as was suggested and read about the different professions.
